Ever wonder how President Snow maintains his flawless look? Thanks to the unprecedented access granted to Capitol TV, we’re going inside President Snow’s private home to chat with the people that keep him looking sharp. We know from Snow’s autobiography that appearances are very important to him, like this excerpt, “The key to demonstrating your ability as a leader is to project a vision of what your country can be. It’s my goal to communicate to every single Panem citizen that we are a country of strength, honor, and above all else, peace.” From what we could see, the Capitol spares no expense in maintaining this vision.
President Snow has a variety of teams devoted to his cosmetological needs. The wardrobe team, lead by famed stylist Juliana Rydell, is in charge of designing, procuring, and pressing and President Snow’s suits for every occasion; staying on the cutting edge of Capitol trends to ensure Snow is on point; polishing Snow’s lapel vase, and of course, selecting his signature white rose.
The hair and makeup team, lead by Trivalda Enfario (pictured here), make sure every hair is in its place (literally). President Snow has a strict daily regimen consisting of a haircut, beard trimming, manicure, and teeth whitening. And take it from us, their efforts do not go unnoticed. Even looking at President Snow close-up, his perfection is almost astounding. In a room of even the most prestigious individuals in the Capitol, there’s no doubt who transcends them all.
What struck the team at Capitol TV the most is President Snow’s incredible attention to detail. From those in charge of his appearance to the members of his cabinet, President Snow sees everything and everybody as a reflection of the best Panem can be. We can say we feel truly honored knowing we are in such capable (and well-manicured) hands. Time for Capitol TV to sign-off, but stay tuned for more news in and around the Capitol.
The CMI has received your concerns regarding Enforcement and Safety practices in Panem. The following is our official response.
Panem: strong, unified, safe. Guided by the Capitol’s leadership, we have banded together to form a harmonious nation every citizen can be proud of. But our system, fervent as our values may be, is not perfect. It takes a gallant force to maintain order in our nation, a fleet of determined protectors to uphold our laws—our Peacekeepers.
But there are those who would threaten our safety, those who would see our way of life dismantled and destroyed. These criminals live among us and endanger our society from the inside, living as our friends, our neighbors, even among our families. Many will now wear a tawdry representation of a seemingly innocuous mockingjay bird, but be wary! The future they promise is fiction, a dangerous distraction from our goal; a peaceful Panem.
To guard our citizens against these evildoers, Peacekeepers endure strenuous training regimens to turn their exercise into instinct. Cadets train in a series of rigorous militaristic methods, so they can be exceedingly familiar in both physical fighting and weapon handling. Imbued with the latest advances in military technology, Peacekeeper equipment is nothing less than the best Panem has to offer. From sleek armor to cutting-edge firearms and military vehicles, Peacekeepers are outfitted and equipped to eradicate any threat. Fret not, these valiant forces are ready to risk life and limb to keep Panem safe.
Paving the way for a brighter future, these remarkable guardians keep us secure in our everyday lives. Thanks to this elite force, citizens will never again face the harrowing struggle of the Dark Days or an uncertain future. Our Peacekeepers will always be there—watchful, fearless, and brave, to ensure the promise of a peaceful and prosperous tomorrow.
